Door Contact SensorGeist's door position sensor helps you keep track of whether data center doors are open or closed. You can use a web interface to check the position of the door, or an alarm can be set to provide you with an alert whenever a secure door is opened. Consisting of two main components - a magnet and a switch with terminals connecting the signal wires - the distance between the pieces widens whenever the door is opened. This is how Geist's door position sensor detects whether the door is open or closed. The sensor can be easily hooked up to I/O ports so that it can relay information about the door position.

The Geist door position sensor comes in two standard lengths - 30 inches and 100 inches - but custom lengths are available by request.

60 VDCM Sensor

60 VDCM Sensor

Tabs

Overview

60 VDCM SensorThis sensor enables the climate monitor to monitor DC in low voltage systems. Using logs and graphs provided by the monitor you can remotely check on the status of the system. Find out if the batteries are being overcharged or not charged enough.

  • Measure voltage of battery systems up to 60VDC
  • Connects to a climate monitor via Analog Input or CCAT
  • Get graphs, see trends in the system
  • Receive alerts for overvoltage or undervoltage

Flood Sensor

Flood Sensor

Tabs

Overview

Flood SensorThe flood sensor allows the Geist Climate Monitor to detect leaks that could damage your equipment. The sensor measures conductivity and indicates whether the sensor is dry, damp, or completely immersed in water.

When water or other conductive liquid is present, a tiny electrical current flows between the metal contacts on the sensor. The more liquid, the higher the current. A cable attached to the sensor allows the climate monitor to detect the presence and severity of a leak.

Overview

Current TransducerThe Current Transducer monitors the current being drawn by a particular device or group of devices. It also measures current ranges of 30, 60 and 120 amps, determined by a three-position switch. The unit outputs 0 to 5 VDC (proportional to current).

Overview

Water Sensing Cable KitWater sensing cable kits feature detection cables that recognize the presence of water along the entire cable length. These kits are ideal for discovering moisture over a wide area such as the perimeter of a group of racks and cabinets. Get an email or SNMP alert when the cable comes in contact with water. The sensor comes with a wall-mounted control box and connects to two analog inputs.

Overview

Isolated Voltage SensorThe Isolated Voltage Sensor monitor DC voltage used in telecom systems through our Environmental Monitors with galvanic isolation. Using logs and graphs provided by the Environmental Monitor, you can remotely check on the status of the system and find out if the batteries are being overcharged or not charged enough.

Connected to an Environmental Monitor and with the appropriate settings, you can receive an automatic alert (via email or SNMP) to a potentially dead, discharged, or overcharged battery bank based on the battery voltage. Get graphs and see trends in the system as well.
